Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking an Instructor / DSP Peer Mentor to provide instructional support, mentoring, and direct services to adults with IDD. The role includes developing learning activities, living skills training, and self-advocacy programs while mentoring new DSPs and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of employment with RHD preferred for DSP Peer Mentor responsibilities.
• Knowledge of IDD services, person-centered planning, and positive behavior supports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional activities and learning opportunities.
• Develop curriculum, teaching materials, and training resources.
• Implement individualized service plans and instructional strategies.
• Supervise participants with ratios 1:1 to 1:12.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes accurately.
• Maintain participant records and documentation.
