Job summary

Community Living Alternatives in Northern Virginia seeks a Home Manager/QIDP to serve as the main contact for families and professionals, ensuring timely ISP development and daily implementation in accordance with federal regulations for ICFs.

The role includes supervising up to 12 direct support professionals, coordinating training, and monitoring medication administration, incident reporting, and documentation in CLA records.

Qualifications

• At least one year of documented experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record and access to a private vehicle for on-call duties.
• CPR/First Aid certification and required ongoing trainings per CLA policy.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the main contact at the home for families, case managers, consultants, and other authorized persons.
• Ensures timely development of the annual Person Centered ISP for each individual supported, in collaboration with case management and families.
• Implements the ISP requirements daily and ensures compliance with federal regulations applicable to community ICFs.
• Monitors workshops/rehab providers, day programs and outside recreation activities.
• Oversees medication administration techniques and MAR interpretation; monitors medication management.
• Supervises and trains staff to ensure support services are provided per job descriptions; maintains documentation.
• Coordinates with the Project Director to ensure licensure, Medicaid Waiver requirements and other policies are followed.
• Schedules staff meetings, conducts on-site reviews, and maintains CLA records and reports.
• Participates in after-hours and weekend on-call duties and supports resident rights and independence.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a human services field
