Discovery Living Inc. seeks a Community Living Coordinator to oversee delivery of safe, person-centered services for adults with IDD. The role supervises DSPs and ACs, coordinates staffing, and ensures quality care across sites in alignment with mission and policies.

You will oversee service plans, monitor wellbeing, and provide leadership during incidents, trainings, and organizational initiatives. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and respond to urgent situations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with, or ability to learn, required electronic systems.
• Valid Iowa driver's license and ability to meet insurability standards.

Aufgaben

• Oversee implementation of individualized service plans and IDT decisions.
• Monitor health, safety, and wellbeing of individuals served and respond to incidents.
• Provide leadership guidance and decision‑making support to ACs and DSPs.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Complete site visits and oversee service quality and documentation.
• Communicate with individuals served, families, guardians, case managers, and community partners.
• Provide direct support when operationally required.
• Participate in meetings, training, and organizational initiatives.
