Job summary

HDR in Idaho seeks an Idaho Transportation Business Development Leader to drive bookings and grow HDR's transportation market share in Idaho. You will build relationships with key clients and leverage HDR's resources to solve complex challenges.

This role focuses on top-line growth, developing strategic plans, pursuing new opportunities, and leading pursuit teams to win high-value contracts. Travel to client sites and project reviews is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years relevant industry experience.
• Self-starter with a history of delivering projects with limited oversight.
• Deep knowledge of A/E/C procurement of professional services.
• Ability to motivate others and build a client network.
• Experience in sales, win strategies and budgeting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel and engage in-person.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads to achieve annual sales goals.
• Achieve area sales goals and manage budgets.
• Maintain client relationships and CRM reporting metrics.
• Develop annual and long-term strategic plans for Idaho transportation.
• Lead pursuit teams and develop persuasive proposals.
• Engage project teams to capture opportunities and drive bookings.
