Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Idaho Water Business Group Manager to lead HDR’s water practice in Idaho, driving growth, innovation, and client impact. You will guide a mature, high-performing team and collaborate with regional leaders to expand HDR’s presence in the water sector.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration with business development, technical directors, and office managers across HDR’s Idaho footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years experience
• Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams
• Committed to quality, HDR values
• Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand
• Ability to work cooperatively with regional and local office managers, other area business group directors, technical directors and marketing managers
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of HDR's water practice in Idaho strengthening our leadership position.
• Lead strategic growth initiatives as part of regional leadership and identify opportunities to expand impact.
• Guide the direction and performance of a mature, high-performing group and drive innovation and growth.
• Collaborate with Water Business Development Leader to expand into new markets and pursue major opportunities.
• Prepare annual revenue forecasts and budgets and monitor performance.
• Foster collaboration across teams and offices to maximize client satisfaction and profitability.
• Build and mentor a large, high-performing team.
• Maintain trusted client relationships and support major pursuits as needed.
• Represent HDR across industry and community as a leader in water solutions.
