HDR's Transportation Business Group in New York and New Jersey seeks a seasoned business development leader to shape strategy and pursue major market opportunities in highways and roads. You will coordinate regional growth initiatives, manage client relationships, and lead pursuits across the NY/NJ area.

You will drive a 5-year vision, annual plans, and budgets, identify markets, and collaborate with marketing, operations, and project staff to ensure profitable delivery and growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business development with strategic program development and proposal management.
• Professional Engineering registration (PE) preferred.
• Strong network of NY/NJ transportation clients.
• Excellent marketing, negotiation and client relationship skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop strategy to meet annual goals for the NY/NJ area.
• Lead 5‑year strategic vision, planning and annual budgets.
• Identify markets, propose investments and hires.
• Coordinate with regional and company counterparts on BD activities.
• Manage client relationships and key client accounts.
• Oversee marketing resources and pursuit campaigns.
• Monitor market trends and contribute to planning and program evaluations.
