Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver seeks a Division Administrator for the Infectious Diseases division. You will coordinate policies, oversee teaching, research and clinical programs, and manage the division's funds and resources under the Division Head's guidance.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting and regulatory knowledge, with hybrid work and frequent collaboration with SOM leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Six years of financial administration/management experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Participates as staff representative on the division's Leadership Team and collaborates on operational and financial matters; advocates for staff and resources.
  • Advocates for division priorities to the Department of Medicine, UCH partners, and the SOM Dean's Office.
  • Drives performance through engagement, commitment, collaboration and teamwork within the division leadership and staff.
  • Oversees fiscal management of all division funds (state, federal, gifts, endowments, grants) and clinical funds; manages operations and staffing planning.
  • Provides oversight of budget preparation, controls, and monitors revenue and expenditures for each fund source.
  • Administers policies and regulations from federal, state, University and School of Medicine entities; oversees business, clinical, research and educational administration.
  • Coordinates personnel matters (position establishment, recruitment, hiring, supervision, performance planning and termination processes).
  • Participates in division planning and reports on new programs and ventures to interested parties.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field
