Qualifications

• Must hold Medical Degree (MD/DO) and board certification in Infectious Diseases.
• Meets University of Minnesota criteria for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor of Medicine.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience.
• Strong record of clinical excellence and international reputation for scholarly activity.
• Proven ability to secure extramural funding for research.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine.
• Oversee the division's clinical, research, and educational activities.
• Develop and enact a plan for divisional expansion and program growth.
• Manage the division's budget, resources, and personnel.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain faculty and staff.
• Foster a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment.
• Represent the division within the department and institution.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure efficient operations.
