Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD/DO) required.
• Board certification in Infectious Diseases required.
• Meets criteria for appointment at Associate Professor/Professor of Medicine.
• Strong record of clinical excellence and international scholarly reputation.
• Proven ability to secure extramural research funding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to inclusive excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine.
• Oversee clinical, research, and educational activities of the Division.
• Develop and enact a plan for divisional expansion and program growth.
• Manage the Division's budget, resources, and personnel.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain faculty and staff; foster a collaborative environment.
• Represent the Division within the Department and broader medical community.
• Develop and implement policies for efficient operations.
• Foster diversity and inclusion while supporting faculty goals.
