• Medical Degree (MD/DO) required and board certification in Infectious Diseases.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience.

• Proven ability to secure extramural funding for research.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to inclusive excellence.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine.
• Oversee clinical, research, and educational activities of the division.
• Develop and enact plans for divisional expansion and program growth.
• Manage the division's budget, resources, and personnel.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain faculty and staff; foster collaboration and excellence.
• Represent the division within the department, institution, and medical community.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure efficient operations; promote diversity and inclusion.
• Maintain a clinical infectious diseases practice and provide expert consultation.
• Support research activities; sustain active programs and collaborations.
• Support the Infectious Disease Fellowship Program and faculty development.
• Promote culture of continuous improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
