Qualifications

• Must hold Medical Degree (MD or DO) andBoard certification in Infectious Diseases.
• Meets UM Medical School criteria for Associate Professor or Professor.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience.
• Strong clinical excellence and international scholarly reputation.
• Proven ability to secure extramural funding for research.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine.
• Oversee clinical, research, and educational activities of the Division.
• Develop and enact a plan for divisional expansion and program growth.
• Manage the Division's budget, resources, and personnel.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain faculty and staff.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Represent the Division within the Department of Medicine and the wider medical community.
• Develop and implement policies for efficient operations.
• Promote an inclusive environment that supports faculty goals.
