Job summary

Open Arms Care Corporation seeks a Site Operations Manager at the Knoxville ID/DD house to supervise up to 30 staff and oversee daily operations, care plans, and community engagement. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in ID/DD field or direct care settings.
• Prior supervisory experience with at least 2 years in management and oversight of staff.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• Certified in Professional Crisis Management (PCM) within 60 days of hire is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, other applications).

Responsibilities

• Represent OAC in community meetings, events, and social functions.
• Assist in hiring, selection, and placement to ensure qualified applicants.
• Foster a collaborative work environment with employee engagement activities.
• Communicate plans of care to work teams and ensure execution.
• Weekly inventory updates of supplies.
• Alternate on-call responsibilities including weekend supervisory visits.
• Manage site budgetary obligations, payroll, scheduling and performance reviews.
• Ensure a safe, clean living and working environment per safety standards and licensure.
• Attend Safety Committee and Incident Management Meetings and follow up on action items.
• Ensure documentation accuracy in bed checks, shift notes, and repositioning notes; drive improvements with staff.
• Attend site meetings to address client and staff needs.
• Serve as liaison for parents/guardians of clients.
• Participate in weekly planning with Program Manager and Site Nurse for holistic client support.
• Support client participation in Enrichment Center and community integration with an activity calendar.
• Maintain relationships with conservators and families; provide coverage as needed.
