Job summary

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is hiring a Verifying Official ID Card Operator to support the U.S. Army and eligible personnel in Arlington, VA. You will verify and issue military IDs and CACs, manage DEERS/RAPIDS, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

The role requires at least one year of customer service experience, English proficiency, RAPIDS certification within seven days, and the ability to pass a background check. Schedule typically 7:30 am–4:00 pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to work at an accelerated pace.
• Obtain a favorable criminal background check and security investigation.
• Proficient in English, both written and oral.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and Internet Explorer 7 or above.
• Proficient in the use of basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, scanners.
• Must successfully complete RAPIDS certification within seven business days after being hired.
• Type 25 words per minute.
• Previous CAC or similar Government contract employment experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with the military is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Controls and issues identification tags and Geneva Convention Cards to military members and other eligible recipients.
• Screens Soldiers, family members and dependents for visits.
• Briefs Soldiers and family members on policies and procedures.
• Maintains the DEERS and RAPIDS systems.
• Performs ID Card and CAC issuance tasks including verification of eligibility and entitlements.
• Issues memorandums for use of Commissary/Post Exchange and Government IDs.
• Performs routine maintenance on computers and printers.
• Prepares weekly and monthly reports.
