Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a part-time Clinical Nursing Supervisor for the ICU. You will support administrative functions, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate patient care with the unit Director and Manager.

This role emphasizes performance improvement, staff orientation, and compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires an active RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS on hire, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience with leadership

Qualificações

• Must hold a current state Registered Nurse license.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory/leadership role preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supports administrative responsibility for the ICU department and collaborates with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees orientation and training of personnel in the department.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally.
• Is responsible for staff quality and department function during their shift and directs staffing, time use, and equipment as needed.
• Performs direct patient care when necessary within the scope of practice and guides care adjustments as needed.
