Job summary

The Banner Casa Grande Medical Center ICU SWAT RN is a key member of the Clinical Care Operations team, delivering expert nursing care, rapid response, and patient transport support across the hospital. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely, and effective patient care.

Working 3x12-hour shifts with a night schedule (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and weekend rotations, you’ll receive an 18% night diff and a $3/hour weekend diff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.
• ICU clinical experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, and educational domains.
• Formulate and revise plans of care with input from patient and team.
• Implement care plans and supervise nursing staff per policy.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care and education accordingly.
• Document assessments, plans, and outcomes in the patient record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Participate in quality improvement and staff development activities.
• Interact with patients, families, and other providers to support care planning.
• Coordinate with departments for timely patient transportation and discharge.
