Job summary

Banner - University Medical Center Tucson is seeking an experienced SWAT RN to respond to emergencies across units including ICU, PICU, NICU and WIS. This night-shift role (7:00PM-7:30AM, 3/12) may float to South Tucson as needed.

You will provide clinical expertise, respond to Code Blue, rapid responses, and support high-level care evaluations. Eligible candidates enjoy night differential and shift differentials with self-scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card requirements may apply for certain Banner units.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per policy and professional standards.
• Formulate a care plan with patient/family and health team input, including discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver care and ensure continuity.
• Provide care based on physician orders and nursing care plans; supervise others as needed.
• Evaluate patient and family response and adjust the plan accordingly.
