Mercy Health's The Jewish Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high‑quality care. This role serves as the link between Med‑Surg and ICU, assesses patients, plans care, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requirements include current RN licensure, BLS (ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS within 6 months), and 1 year of RN experience (6 months in acute care preferred); BSN is preferred but

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• BSN is preferred but not required.
• Current RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and care planning.
• Serve as liaison for patient care coordination between Med-Surg and ICU.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
