Job summary

The Jewish Hospital is seeking an RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide compassionate, high-quality care for step-down patients at Bon Secours Mercy Health. You will collaborate with Med-Surg and ICU teams and support the care planning process to improve outcomes.

BSN preferred; current RN licensure required. BLS is required; ACLS preferred at hire with ACLS completion within 6 months. This role offers mentorship for new grads and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing; BSN preferred but not required.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BLS is required; ACLS preferred at hire and ACLS training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and modify plans of care
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination
• Act as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement
• Administer medications safely per policy and state practice acts
