Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care (Step down) unit at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. The RN will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess patients, create and implement care plans, and ensure safety and quality in a busy hospital environment.

Required: Ohio RN licensure and 1 year of RN experience in acute care. BSN preferred; ACLS/BLS certifications are preferred and ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of Ohio.
• 1 year of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• ACLS/BLS certifications preferred; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Assess patient status, develop and implement care plans.
• Serve as patient care coordinator across hospital departments.
• Administer medications safely per policy.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement in the department.
