Job summary

Mercy Home Health's The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for ICU Stepdown and Progressive Care Unit. You will assess patient status, develop and implement plans of care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and serve as a bridge between Med-Surg and ICU to optimize outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS; ACLS preferred; BSN preferred but not required; 1 year RN experience, with 6 months in acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state.
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred (ACLS required within 6 months).
• 1 year of RN experience required, 6 months in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop care plans to improve outcomes.
• Act as service line between Med-Surg and ICU units.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and ensure a safe environment.
• Administer medications according to policy and practice standards.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
