Freeman Health System is seeking a dedicated RN for the ICU Step-Down Unit to provide continuous assessment and care planning for patients transitioning from ICU. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care while maintaining strong communication with patients’ families.

This full-time position requires current RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and annual neuro/cardiac stroke CEUs, with opportunities for professional growth within Freeman’s nursing teams.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification (within 120 days or as specified)
• BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Stroke/Neuro CEU hours as required annually
• RN license in current state or compact state with residence state license

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical, emotional, and psychosocial assessments and plan and implement appropriate interventions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective care and timely plan adjustments.
• Document care plans, monitor patient progress and communicate with families.
