Freeman Health System is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the ICU Step-Down Unit (TCU). Join a multidisciplinary team caring for patients transitioning from ICU to Med-Surge and support a wide range of cardiac, respiratory and metabolic needs.

This full-time day-shift role offers a 36-hour weekly schedule, 12-hour shifts, and opportunities for professional development with required certifications and hospital-based orientation.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 120 days.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• ASLS - Advanced Stroke Life Support within 180 days.
• Stroke CEU hours - 8 per year annually by transcript due date.
• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current RN license from a compact state.
• If no hospital experience recently, must pass Patient Care Orientation within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs systematic assessment of patients and families.
• Plans and implements interventions per medical plan of care.
• Evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care.
