Freeman Health System is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a full-time night shift (36 hours per week) at Freeman Hospital West. The role involves independent patient assessments, planning and implementing nursing care, and collaborating with the medical team to deliver safe, high-quality care in a 31-bed ICU and 7-bed CVICU.

Applicants must hold an active RN license (Missouri or compact), with ACLS/BLS, TNCC within 365 days, and CPI, IABP, CRRT training within specified timelines.

Formación

• RN license required (Missouri or compact)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timelines
• TNCC within 365 days
• CPI training within 180 days
• IABP and CRRT training within 1 year
• Stroke and trauma CEU hours annually
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and plan of care with nursing plan of care.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient treatment.
• Document interventions and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Provide patient and family education and support, ensuring quality of care.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and leadership in daily nursing activities.
• Maintain compliance with training timelines and competency requirements.
