Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a registered nurse for the ICU Step-Down Unit (TCU) to provide comprehensive care for patients transitioning from ICU to med-surge care. The role involves ongoing assessment and intervention planning in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Eligible candidates will have RN residency completion, Missouri or compact state licensure, and certifications in ACLS/BLS. The position offers night shift hours and a path for professional growth within Freeman’s

Qualifications

• Eligible to sit for State Boards.
• Must successfully complete RN Residency.
• Must obtain Missouri RN license or Compact license within specified timelines.
• PCo orientation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/BLS required within stated timeframes.
• Stroke/CeU requirements per year and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of patients and families; plan and implement care; evaluate effectiveness and adjust plan.
