Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Medical ICU to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care across shifts. You will direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care, serving as a key resource to staff and collaborating with management to uphold our vision and outcomes.

You will participate in selecting and training staff, manage scheduling, and support nursing strategies and service improvements that enhance patient experiences and department performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN – Registered Nurse licensed in the state.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admissions and discharges to maintain throughput and care quality.
• Monitors and evaluates nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Directs and supports staff coordination and resource management.
• Collaborates to create teamwork that improves outcomes and service.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies, including staff rounding and hourly rounds.
• Oversees staff scheduling and productivity in line with patient care needs.
• Manages inventory and equipment supplies.
