Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an experienced RN Shift Supervisor to lead the ICU team and coordinate high-quality patient care. The CNC role focuses on directing nursing activities, improving outcomes, and ensuring alignment with hospital policies.

You will collaborate with management to model our values, support staff development, and drive ongoing improvements in patient experience and clinical performance.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of start.
• RN licensure required with Bachelor's degree and ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and high-quality care.
• Monitors, directs and evaluates nursing care on shift in collaboration with management.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork and improve patient outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies and staff engagement initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Participates in interviewing, selecting, and training new staff and actions to ensure organizational competitiveness.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
