Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and seamless coordination of unit functions during the shift. Qualifications

• RN license required and current; ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; GI/Endo hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with management to monitor and improve nursing care quality and outcomes.
• Directs, coordinates and evaluates nursing care in the unit during the shift.
• Supports staffing, scheduling, training, and staff development activities.
• Ensures inventory control and proper use of supplies and equipment.
