Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an RN Team Lead to act as a formal and informal leader on the unit in Minnesota. The role includes coordinating daily planning, delegating patient care, and leading staff development while ensuring quality and safety in line with the Mayo Nursing Care Model.

Candidates must hold RN licensure, have a nursing degree/diploma, and be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Sponsorship and on-campus duties apply as described.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an associate degree or diploma in a nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is required.
• Current RN licensure by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit operations and coordinate daily planning and patient flow.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level, acuity, and resources.
• Provide leadership through staff development, teaching, and quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate nursing care across practice settings and transitions of care.
