Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an RN Team Lead to guide a nursing unit with hands-on leadership, delegation, and collaboration with management to plan and coordinate care. The TL will oversee staffing, educate staff, precept new hires, and participate in quality improvement and research.

The role may require direct clinical care and requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. TN sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an associate degree or diploma in nursing.
• RN license in applicable state.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting.
• Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit as RN Team Lead and delegate patient care.
• Coordinate daily planning and patient flow with management.
• Develop staff, teach, precept, and participate in quality improvements.
• Coordinate nursing care across the continuum of care.
• Provide direct clinical care when required.
