Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an RN for the Intensive Care Unit at RWJUH Hamilton Hospital. This per diem Day shift role entails delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity environment.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes and patient-centered experiences in our renowned health system. The ideal candidate holds an NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1–2 years ICU experience, with BSN preferred.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification, ACLS and PALS.
- ASN or Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in Acute Care ICU.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes to intervene early.
- Administer medications, treatments, and provide hands-on nursing care.
- Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate timely care decisions.
- Provide clear education to patients and families to support informed decisions.
