Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit for per diem day shifts. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, and document in EPIC to ensure patient safety.

Candidates must hold an active New Jersey RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS; ASN or Diploma required with BSN preferred. 1-2 years ICU experience is required; per diem schedule includes rotating weekends/ holidays.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 1-2 years ICU experience.
• ASN or Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and identify clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Document accurately in EMR (EPIC) for continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and patient-family education.
