Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time, day shift. You will provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and philosophy, while delivering Service Excellence and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current NV nursing license.
• Current ACLS & BLS certificates.
• Two year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.
• Handle with Care training (or obtained within six months of employment)

Responsabilités

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients; develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet patient/family needs.
• Completes hourly rounds with purpose to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs; assess environment for patient safety.
