Job summary

Universal Health Services in Reno, NV is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time, flexible day shift schedule. You will provide safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies and promote patient-centered care while supporting the healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited RN program background, NV license, ACLS/BLS certifications, and preferred acute-care experience. Handle with Care training or willingness to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current NV nursing license.
• Current ACLS & BLS certificates.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.
• Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
• Lead and support the healthcare team in patient-centered care.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care and discharge planning.
• Conduct hourly rounds to improve safety and communication.
