Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. The role provides safe, competent nursing care per policy and offers leadership support to the healthcare team, aligned with patient-centered care and service excellence.

Qualified applicants will have ICU RN experience, a current NV nursing license, ACLS and BLS certification, and prefer 1 year of full-time or 3 years part-time acute care experience, with Handle with Care training or within six

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
Current NV nursing license.
Current ACLS & BLS certificates.
Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.
Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment).

Responsibilities

Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific needs in care assessment.
Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care and discharge plans for assigned patients.
Performs hourly rounds to strengthen communication, safety, and patient needs.
