Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification current upon hire.
• Critical Care Course completion preferred.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification current or within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year as staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within ICU scope and guide patient/family education.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment response while maintaining privacy.
