Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry RN for the Night Shift in the ICU. The Full-Time (.9) assignment is expected to last 12 weeks, with compensation of $60.00 per hour.

Staffing needs may be adjusted based on operational requirements. The RN will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, supervise and teach other staff, communicate changes to physicians, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in a high‑acuity

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN Licen­se.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in ICU.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
