Job summary

AdventHealth Littleton is seeking an experienced RN for ICU patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess patients, craft and revise care plans, and administer medications while collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN with a nursing license (RN) and BLS certification.
• ICU experience required; 1+ year preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to document and follow care plans accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide interventions as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are maintained.
