Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in good standing
1+ year ICU experience strongly preferred
BLS certification required

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, and reassess regularly.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
Document continuously in the medical record with accuracy.
Monitor and adjust care plans to improve patient health outcomes.
Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate care to other team members.
Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
