Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for the M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital location in Burnsville, MN. The role involves caring for patients with diverse acute and chronic diagnoses in a fast-paced 12-bed unit with opportunities to pick up shifts, including every third weekend and 12-hour night shifts.

Qualified candidates will hold an MN RN license and BLS certification, with current ICU RN experience.

Qualifications

• MN RN license required and current.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Current ICU RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Develop an individualized plan of care.
• Implement interventions during treatment.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions.
• Use effective communication to achieve outcomes with patients and families.
• Coordinate care with health-care team and delegate as appropriate.
• Apply standards and practice guidelines to improve outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based practice (EBP) and participate in related opportunities.
