Job summary

Fairview Health Services seeks a Registered Nurse for the Lakes Medical Center ICU in Wyoming, MN. This .6 FTE role requires 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends, delivering advanced care in a fast-paced, collaborative unit.

The Lakes ICU provides intensivist support and a multidisciplinary team approach to diverse critical care patients, focusing on evidence-based practice and family-centered care. A MN RN license, BLS, ACLS, and critical care experience are required, with CCRN and ICU

Qualifications

• MN RN license required.
• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Critical Care Experience required; EMT/Paramedic or CC Capstone/Immersion considered for pre-hospital/new grads.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health team to develop a nursing plan.
• Develop individualized care plans based on age and condition.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patient, family and health care team to promote partnership.
• Advance care using care pathways and continuous improvement to improve outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based practice.
