Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Maplewood, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the ICU at St. John’s Hospital. This 12-hour night shift position runs 48 hours every two weeks with an every-third-weekend rotation.

You will perform assessments, care planning, and collaboration with the care team, delivering evidence-based nursing care in a 20-bed ICU with Medical/Surgical and Cardiac populations.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• MN RN license is required to practice in Minnesota.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify nursing outcomes for ICU patients.
• Develop and implement an individualized care plan with the health team.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams across settings.
• Uphold evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
