Job summary
Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking an RN - Critical Care (PCCU) for a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am), 36 hours per week, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.
The Staff Nurse will develop care plans, assess patients, communicate with families and the interdisciplinary team, and support performance improvement and wound/ostomy care.
Active Illinois nursing license, ACLS, BLS, and 1 year inpatient experience are required; BSN or higher preferred.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois State Nursing License
- ACLS Required
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) - National CPR Foundation (NCPRF) Required
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Develop a plan of care with interventions to meet outcomes and evaluate progress.
- Perform patient assessment and collect health data from patient, family, and care team.
- Communicate plan of care to patient/family and document data for the team.
- Teach patient/family based on learning needs and cultural background; tailor education accordingly.
- Collaborate with peers and staff; participate in professional development and education.
- Provide compassionate support to patients.
- Assist technical staff with procedures and IV therapy.
- Participate in performance improvement and research activities.
