Job summary

Edward-Elmhurst Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Night RN for the PCCU to deliver skilled critical care nursing on a 7pm–7:30am schedule. Rotating weekends and holidays, with potential float to other units.

The nurse will plan, implement and evaluate care, document data, and educate patients and families while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois nursing license is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Inpatient nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Assess patients, collect health data, and communicate with families and care team.
• Provide patient teaching aligned with learning needs and cultural respect.
• Participate in wound/ostomy/skin care rounds and evidence-based practices when skilled.

Skills

Active Illinois RN license

ACLS

BLS (CPR)

Inpatient nursing experience

Communication with care team

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

RN Diploma grandfathered if start before Sep 2021
