Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL, invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join the ICU (MICU, Neuro ICU cross-trained to CVICU) on the full-time night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). A sign-on bonus is available and compensation aligns with market ranges.

The role delivers direct patient care using the nursing process, guides patient/family teaching, and collaborates with physicians on clinical changes. IL RN license, BLS are required; CCRN and BSN are preferred.

Qualificações

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel in the ICU.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
