Capital Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit (RMC) on a full-time day schedule. You will provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, coordinating with the team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in good standing; BLS required.
• Must obtain TNCC within 1 year of hire and 8 hours Trauma-related CNE if ICU/CCU assignment.
• Must obtain NIH Stroke Scale Certification or within orientation.
• Must obtain ACLS within 6 months if assigned to critical care/ICU/ER, etc.
• Must obtain PALS within 6 months if assigned to certain units.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures; supports pain management and discharge planning.
• Communicates effectively with patients and families; coordinates with health care team for patient care and education.
