Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Critical Care Technician for the Intermediate Care Unit (RMC) on a part-time day shift. The role supports RN staff with patient safety, hygiene, nutrition, and monitoring, including CPR and phlebotomy under supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma, BLS, and prior healthcare experience; CNA certification is preferred or completion of Capital Health UAP Training within 90 days. 8-hour shifts and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: EMT, military medic, PCA in an acute care or nursing school setting with clinicals.
• Credentials: AHA BLS; CNA preferred or Capital Health UAP Training within 90 days.
• Usual Work Day: 8 Hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety in patient care and falls precautions under RN supervision.
• Assist with patient hygiene, feeding, and documentation of intake/output.
• Support CPR, phlebotomy, glucometer, and vital signs under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, stocked unit and logs; report equipment issues.
