Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an experienced Staff Registered Nurse for ICU/CCU at our RMC campus, full-time nights. You will deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support discharge planning and education.

The role requires current NJ RN license, BLS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS/PALS within specified timelines and Trauma/Critical Care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing or higher.
• NJ RN license and BLS certification.
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required or within orientation.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care through the nursing process with assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Assesses patient needs and develops discharge planning and education.
• Provides pain management and pharmacological/non-pharmacological measures.
• Ensures safe handoffs and collaborates with the health care team.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and Joint Commission readiness.
