Capital Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit on a Per Diem basis. Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current RN license in the United States or eligible and able to obtain.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider; TNCC/ACLS/NRP/PALS as required or within orientation.
• Experience: None required; prior nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Ensure patient safety by following policies, procedures and standards.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with health care team; participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend required training and adapt staffing as needed.
