About This Role

Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for their Intensive Care Unit. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and mentoring others in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• **Facility:** White Oak Medical Center
• **Schedule:** Full-time, Day shift (36 hours/week, three 12-hour shifts)

What You'll Do

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties appropriately.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice based on evidence.

Requirements

**Education:**

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

**Experience:**

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

**Licenses & Certifications:**

• Current Maryland State nursing license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
