Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation's Aultman Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct, primary nursing care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The RN will assess, plan, implement and document care, and supervise licensed staff as needed.

Responsibilities include collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high reliability standards. BSN preferred; Ohio RN license required; BLS/ACLS/NIHSS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current, active RN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• AHA BLS certification required; RQI training preferred.
• Certification preferred for RNs meeting applicable requirements.
• Membership in professional nursing organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate care.
• Act as patient advocate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Attain and maintain current nursing practice knowledge and standards.
• Model professional standards and guidelines and participate in ongoing education.
• Coordinate care with physicians, patients, and families.
